Was phenomenal. It was just crushing how good Van Halen is. The opening act was Ky-Mani Marley, son of Bob Marley. Nothing quite as nice as going to a heavy rock show and getting a good dose of reggae. I know the ticket price is a little exorbitant, but I would highly recommend going to see them if you have the chance. I have been going to shows for over 20 years and it was easily one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Peace.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Ticket prices are always a factor for me, one of the reasons I didn't go see Johnny Winter recently.

Anyway, I just had a nice chat with the lady at the PO and she assures me you should check your mail Monday to find some shiney new discs.

:)

I think the ticket sales are so high because of the ease of getting music on the internet these days. The artists have to make a living some way. It seems that tours and merchandise is how they are doing it. They wanted $50.00 for a t-shirt last night. I almost choked on my $6.00 soda pop.
Good deal, I'll be looking in the mail box then. Thanks.

He tore it up on bass. Honestly I enjoyed his playing more than Michael Anthony's. He did a good job on the backing vocals also. I'm not sure how old he is, but he still had pimples on his face and he looks really young.
I don't know what it is, but I think the Van Halen's have some kick ass musician family gene.
